learning gradient tools to create different surfaces
This is my first rendering of a brushed steel thermal bottle I own. This one is done with plain gradients and the pen tool.
I think this most clearly demonstrates the quality you can get from gradient meshes as opposed to gradients!
This was mostly an exploration of the combination of tools that are appropriate for different kinds of surfaces and material breakups. I also used a swatch pattern on this.
